Totally White Logo Design

This is a collection of logo designs that are only white in color, or technically have no color. White logo design is very common and can be effectively used on most colored backgrounds. As a logo designer,  it is a lot of times important to show that your logo will work in both all black and all white situations. I understand that the idea that white is not a color is highly debated by many different artists and even scientists. As an artist i have a hard time seeing it as a color, but i know that many disagree. So what do you think? Is white a color or not?

White is most often a hole.

A hole in the design through which the colour of the paper shows. If whites in the range of 0-3% were printable with any level of reliable control white would be more prominently discussed but normally they aren’t. That’s for printing.

On textiles we have a different story. Have a look at the Pantone deck for textiles. There is an enormous range of whites.

Scientifically, white contains all primaries so most definitely it is a colour. The argument would be that black which contains none of the primaries is not a colour.

In my opinion anything that you see is a colour.
